Workshop Series: Discover the Leader Within You!

Great leaders inspire action! During this 4-part workshop series hosted by C1 Bank, guests will have an opportunity to learn from some of the most dynamic, talented female leaders in Tampa Bay. Our panelists have developed & strengthened their leadership qualities and will share their advice on how to be a leader personally & professionally. Thanks to Rita Lowman, Chief Operating Officer for C1 Bank for moderating the panel. 

Panelists include:

Dr. Kanika Tomalin is the Deputy Mayor of St. Petersburg. In this role she works in partnership with Mayor Rick Kriseman to strategically advance the fourth-largest metropolis in Florida toward its vision of becoming a city of opportunity that honors its past while pursuing the future. Prior to being named Deputy Mayor, Kanika was the Vice President of External Affairs for the Bayfront Health Network, a Health Management system of seven hospitals that stretch along Florida’s Gulf Coast.

Katie Pemble is President and director of C1 Bank. A native Floridian, Pemble holds a finance degree from the University of Florida and has been actively involved in civic organizations throughout her career. She currently serves as treasurer and finance committee chair of Bayfront Health System, Inc., and is a member the American Heart Association (AHA) Tampa Bay Leadership Circle. 

Dr. Julie Mastry is the President of the Bill Edwards Foundation for the Arts at the Mahaffey Theatre. As a past Superintendent for Pinellas County Schools, Dr. Mastry oversaw the management of 17,000 employees. Julie is an active community leader, serving on several foundation boards, including C1 Bank, Junior Achievement, Chi Chi Rodrigues, St. Anthony’s Healthcare Foundation and the Celma Mastry Ovarian Cancer Foundation, a foundation that was established in her mother’s name.
