Working Women of Tampa Bay is joining forces with BPW Tampa to celebrate Tax Day with a very special power lunch featuring Renee Dabbs. Renee will discuss the current challenges women face when running for office and why it's so important for there to be equal representation in government.

The US ranks 104th in the world for women’s representation. Women and girls currently make up more than half the population in the US, but they’re represented by a Congress made up of 80 percent men. What needs to change? How can you help? Renee will share her thoughts on how we can all be more engaged in the process.

About Our Keynote Speaker:

Renee has her own firm that focuses on helping organizations that are big on ideas but struggle with executing those ideas. Her background includes sales and marketing at Procter and Gamble and COO of the The Victory Group, a national communications, media and imaging firm. She is known nationally for her passion and continuous work on issues related to women and their viability in making it to the “table.” Renee is currently working with the National Foundation of Women Legislators, has founded “Women Empowering Women in Legislation and Leadership” and is a board member of the “Women’s Exchange.” She sits on the boards of the Girl Scouts West Central Florida, The Florida Holocaust Museum, University of Florida Alumni Association Board of Directors and is Chairwoman of the Alpha Omicron Pi Foundation Grants Committee.
