This session will focus in the three areas that are vital to any organization’s success:

  1. Ensuring a solid infrastructure to ensure legal compliance of your nonprofit,

  2. Getting the right people and talents on board to build the capacity of your nonprofit,

  3. Developing a fundraising strategy that will allow you support your mission.

Consultant and author Michelle Turman will present Grassroots Strategies to Ensure Nonprofit Success during a workshop lunch sponsored by ServisFirst Bank. This session will provide a roadmap for years 1 to 3 for any nonprofit organization. Lunch will be served.

Our speaker is Michelle Turman, MA, CFRE principal consultant of Catalyst Consulting Services whose mission is to facilitate nonprofit change in the areas of executive searches, governance and fundraising coaching, organizational management and strategic planning. With over twenty-two years of nonprofit experience, Michelle has been responsible for increasing the impact and best practices of nonprofit organizations she serves and has raised over $60 million for the Tampa Bay community through her professional and personal philanthropic efforts. Turman is a Key Partner and educational trainer for the Nonprofit Leadership Center of Tampa Bay and at the Edyth Bush Institute for Philanthropy & Nonprofit Leadership at Rollins College.
