You're invited to our October Power Lunch at Besito Mexican Restaurant at Westshore Mall. Our featured speaker is Michele Norris.

Howard Shultz, CEO of Starbucks, once said, “The hardest thing about being a leader is demonstrating or showing vulnerability… When the leader demonstrates vulnerability and sensibility and brings people together, the team wins.”

Executive and Leadership Coach Michele Norris of Navigen Leadership, LLC will explain how true feminine leadership is about accepting your strengths and weaknesses. She'll help us identify ways women can create sincere and lasting relationships with their teams. She believes that women hold a key to transformational leadership. We have the unique traits and talents to not just lean in but lead out from a place of collaboration, authenticity, transparency and yes, even vulnerability.

Michele Norris focuses on The Future @ Work with concentration on Navigating the Generations, corporate culture and strategic leadership. Michele has more than 30 years of professional sales and leadership experience for such companies as Xerox, ADP, and Boise Cascade Office Products/OfficeMax. In the corporate environment, she has managed and led high performance teams, led change initiatives and worked with the “C” level in diverse organizations.

Michele holds a BA (Marketing) from the University of South Florida’s College of Business in Tampa, Florida. She is a long-time volunteer giving back to her institution through such roles as President of the University of South Florida Alumni Association’s National Board of Directors; Chairperson and Founding Member of the University of South Florida’s Women in Leadership and Philanthropy; and Board Member of the University of South Florida’s Foundation Board of Trustees. Last year she brought Women Reshaping the World to Tampa.
