Working Women of Florida will host its 2016 state conference on September 8th and 9th at The Straz Performing Arts Center in Tampa. Our 4th annual conference will feature dozens of speakers from all over the country. Make sure you choose a VIP ticket to attend the networking reception on the 8th and an exclusive lunch featuring Deborah Ellinger, the new CEO of Ideal Image.  This year, general admission tickets will include both morning and afternoon keynotes, breakfast and lunch!

About Our Morning Keynote Speaker:

Brandi Kamenar is an award-winning entrepreneur, with innovative, national branding and image management expertise. As a renowned Personal Branding Manager, CEO and founder of Brandi Kamenar Beverly Hills, she finds the greatest satisfaction in helping others build and elevate the Personal Brand that truly defines them. Brandi has earned the trust and respect of high-level business leaders and organizations with proven results, by establishing their brand, providing public relations and marketing support and guiding their strategic financial success.

About Our Afternoon Keynote Speaker: 

Born in Tampa, Alexis Carra has been onstage since age 2. She graduated Cum Laude with a BA in Theatre Studies from Yale University. Alexis has worked on and off Broadway. Credits: Fosse, Fame on 42nd Street, Wicked, Sweet Charity, and The Pirate Queen. Film and TV credits: Major Crimes, Grey’s Anatomy, Castle, Mentalist, Bones and ABC series, Mixology, originating the series lead role, “Jessica.” Currently you can see Alexis on the ABC Family/Freeform series, Recovery Road. Alexis is also an internationally acclaimed dance teacher and is on faculty at The EDGE Performing Arts Center in Hollywood. She dreams of originating roles on stage and on screen, and strives to collaborate with creative, open artists. Alexis is also on the Board of a women’s philanthropy and goal group, The New Hollywood. She is the VP of Content Creation and supports women achieving their personal, professional, and philanthropic goals.

About Our VIP Lunch Keynote Speaker:

Deborah Ellinger is the new President and CEO of Ideal Image. Ms. Ellinger serves on the board for The Commonwealth Institute, a non-profit organization focused on women’s leadership. After starting her career at Mellon Financial Corporation, she went on to hold executive leadership positions with CVS Pharmacy, Staples and The Boston Consulting Group. Most recently, Ms. Ellinger served as Chairman and CEO of The Princeton Review, President of Restoration Hardware, and CEO of Wellness Pet Food. She graduated from the University of Cambridge in England, and also qualified as a Barrister-at-Law in London.
