Working Women of Tampa Bay and Tampa Bay WaVE are co-hosting an evening of education and empowerment at Downtown Tampa's newest hot spots, The Attic. Guests will enjoy complimentary appetizers, a glass of wine and a chance to connect with some of the coolest women making waves is the tech industry here in Tampa Bay and beyond.

The theme of the panel discussion will be “You Are a Woman in Technology” defining what a technology business looks like, how women fit in the industry today and share tips and secrets to grow out of and break stereotypes.

Newschannel 8's Stacie Schaible will moderate the discussion.

Panelists include:

Karri Zaremba serves as Chief Operating Officer of Venuetize, bringing 15+ years of experience across technology, media & entertainment, and entrepreneurial startups. Prior to founding Venuetize, Karri served in a variety of senior roles at Vubiquity, including operations, commercial delivery, marketing, finance, and project management. Prior to Vubiquity, Karri was Founder & CEO of Media Gateway, a Dubai-based aggregation model business focused on global content rights aggregation and multi-platform distribution. Karri has a total of 5 start-up ventures under her belt, financed through both Venture Capital and Private Equity. Her prior experience includes business development roles at Showtime Networks, Arvato Mobile, and Dubai Media City.

Susan O’Neal Gear is the founder & CEO of myNFO, a mobile application that empowers consumers to become active partners with the brands and retailers they care about – creating and capturing value for their families through honest, easy, engagement. Her experience in the field of consumer marketing is uniquely suited to this challenge, including over twenty years in the fields of consumer research, branding, targeted marketing, couponing, retail loyalty and digital consumer engagement as a Consumer Analyst (Grey Worldwide), B2B Marketer, Business Strategist (Catalina Marketing) and General Manager responsible for the P&L of two different digital coupon destination sites (coolsavings.com and couponnetwork.com). myNFO recently raised $6.5 Million in financing to expand their reach.

Stephanie Davis is Director of Enterprise Agility & Digital Product Leadership at Cox Target Media. Cox Target Media is a Cox Enterprises company and provider of the Valpak and Savings.com brands. Stephanie is a career project leader with over 19 years’ experience, including past positions with AT&T Business and IBM Global Services, and has maintained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification since early in her career. She also maintains credentials for Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) and Certified Scrum Master (CSM). Stephanie is an elected board member to the Agile Alliance, a non-profit organization with global membership, committed to advancing Agile development principles and practices. In addition, she serves her local community as an organizer for Tampa Bay Agile and Agile Open Florida.
