Together We Can…

That's the theme of LeanIn.Org's new PSA.

The PSA highlights the power of women supporting women and mentorship.

Mentorship and sponsorship are key drivers of success. Women who are mentored by women feel more supported and are often more satisfied with their career. No matter what stage you’re at in your career, you can mentor another woman.

Michelle Turman, M.A, Principal of Catalyst Consulting Services will share why mentoring matters during our October Power Lunch at Grille 116 in Tampa.

About the Speaker:

Michelle's mission is to facilitate positive change in the areas of executive searches, governance and fundraising coaching, organizational management and strategic planning.  With over twenty-two years of nonprofit experience, Michelle and CCS have been responsible for increasing the impact and best practices of nonprofit organizations she serves and has raised over $60 million for the Tampa Bay community through her professional and personal philanthropic efforts.

In addition to facilitating change nationally and in the Tampa Bay area, Michelle’s community service has included leadership roles on the boards of the Suncoast Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Partnership for Philanthropic Planning, Leadership Pinellas, the South Tampa Y and University of South Florida’s Women in Leadership and Philanthropy Mentoring Program and Scholarship Committee and Mentoring Chair of Working Women of Tampa Bay, Elevate, Inc. and the Tampa Chamber's Women of Influence Committee. Turman is a Key Partner and trainer for the Nonprofit Leadership Center of Tampa Bay.

In 2015, Turman was recognized by Tampa Bay Metro Magazine as one of Tampa Bay’s Distinguished Women in Business and in 2016 as the Face of Nonprofit Change. In 2007 and 2016, Turman was a nominated as Business Woman of the Year by the Tampa Bay Business Journal.
