Are you passionate about a certain cause? Have you been volunteering with a nonprofit or charitable organization and considering becoming more involved? This may be the right time to explore becoming a board member of a nonprofit organization. During this informative breakfast workshop, you will learn about the roles and responsibilities in the areas of governance and fundraising of nonprofit organizations and how to begin aligning yourself with a mission that is impactful to you!

Our speaker is Michelle Turman, MA, CFRE principal consultant of Catalyst Consulting Services whose mission is to facilitate nonprofit change in the areas of executive searches, governance and fundraising coaching, organizational management and strategic planning. With over twenty-two years of nonprofit experience, Michelle has been responsible for increasing the impact and best practices of nonprofit organizations she serves and has raised over $60 million for the Tampa Bay community through her professional and personal philanthropic efforts. Turman is a Key Partner and educational trainer for the Nonprofit Leadership Center of Tampa Bay and at the Edyth Bush Institute for Philanthropy & Nonprofit Leadership at Rollins College.

Lunch will be served!
