Now, more than ever, the world needs your story. But how do you craft a powerful work of fiction or nonfiction? And what options exist for getting it into the hands of readers?

This 90-minute workshop will teach you:

  • The essential elements of a compelling story
  • How to decide between different approaches to publishing (independent or traditional)
  • The differences in submitting your work for fiction or nonfiction
  • How to write for your ideal reader
  • How to find your writing voice

We'll hear from two amazing authors and experts!

Linda Bond is Emmy award winning journalist Linda Hurtado by day and an author of romantic adventures by night. She's also the mother of five, four athletes and an adopted son from Cuba. She has a passion for world travel, classic movies, and alpha males. Linda currently lives in Florida, where the sun always shines and the day begins with endless possibilities. You can become a Bond girl and share in her continuing adventures at www.lindabond.com.

LORIN OBERWEGER is a highly sought-after independent book editor and ghostwriter with more than twenty-five years experience in publishing. Her company, Free Expressions, offers writing workshops nationwide, and she’s known for her one-on-one story mastermind weekends.

An award-winning author, Lorin had seven traditionally published books (four fiction, three nonfiction), including BOOMERANG, REBOUND, and BOUNCE, published by Harper/William Morrow. Her work has appeared in well over one-hundred periodicals, and her books have received glowing reviews from the New York Times, USA Today, Kirkus Reviews, and others. Most recently, she co-authored THANK YOU FOR COMING TO MY TED TALK with Chris Anderson, director of the renowned TED organization.
