Did you know that corporations, the federal government and city and county government offices are looking for women business owners? You can take advantage of many contract opportunities that are available to you if you are certified as a woman owned business.

Here’s what you’ll learn from this one-hour Zoom workshop:

  • What certification is.
  • Why corporations and government agencies are promoting certification.
  • The different types of certification and why you should have more than one!
  • The process and the documents you will need to gather before you apply.
  • Success stories that will show you that you too have products or services you can sell to corporations and government agencies.

Nancy G. Allen has been helping women get certified and more importantly grow their business by getting certified for over 20 years. She represents a national program that is sponsored by over 500 corporations. And those corporations are looking for women owned businesses to fulfill contracts. Her local contacts include USF, Moffitt Cancer Center, Disney Parks and Resorts, Florida Blue, Duke Energy and TECO to name a few.

Nancy will share some tips on how to make the certification process easier and she’ll answer questions about the different documents that you have to provide.
