We are honored to present a series of quarterly events that have been exclusively curated to celebrate women in food & wine. Each event is coordinated by Stephanie Love of Epicurious One, LLC and will feature various fellow WWOTB Members in the industry. Guests will experience a food & wine pairing and go home with a special swag bag.
In honor of National Women’s Month, our first event is at Book + Bottle owned by Terra Dunham and located in Downtown St. Peter. This event will feature the wines of Desiree Noisette, Florida’s First African American Female Brand Owner. The pairing of these two dynamic ladies for this event is a full circle experience. Book+Bottle is Florida’s first major retailer to make Mermosa Wines available for their customers. This truly is in the spirit of what Working Women of Tampa Bay is all about! Women supporting women.

Book+Bottle is a woman owned bookstore with wine and a wine bar with books. They have coffee and snacks too. This means you can work from their bar or meet friends for happy hour. They are a quiet and safe space to relax or get some work done.

Mermosa is the creation of Desiree Noisette, an artist, attorney and mother with a passion for spreading her family's Siren Song. In 2018, Desiree convinced her husband to sell their home and use the proceeds to start Mermosa. She and her family "went all in" and the journey has been a wild ride.
Today Desiree sits at the head of the Mermosa organization as the President (or "Head Mermaid"). When she is not in her lab creating formulations or designing new packaging, you may find Desiree adorning a mermaid tail - a part of her job that her children love.
The official wine of brunch, beaches and boats has won numerous awards including a 90 rating from wine enthusiast and is available in Sam’s Clubs, Walmart, Total Wine and Target in various states.

Epicurious One thoughtfully curates wine events that are fun yet educational. Our CEO Stephanie is a Wine and Spirits Education Trust Level 3 Certified wine professional and Tampa Bay’s first African American Female Wine Educator. She is passionate about creating safe spaces where all can learn more about wine and diversity is celebrated. Edutainment is the cornerstone of every event that includes carefully selected wines made by diverse individuals with compelling stories and passionate wine practices.
