Come join us for a morning of meaningful networking with Working Women of Tampa Bay! Meet like-minded professionals at our Safety Harbor Brunch Like a Boss hosted by Gigglewaters and sponsored by the Jim Moran Institute at FSU. Guests will enjoy brunch and a breakfast cocktail. Plus, you'll get to hear from Rachel Fine, Owner of Gigglewaters about her journey as an entrepreneur. Prior to jumping in the restaurant business, Rachel was best known for her work in the television industry. Rachel hosted multiple TV shows for Howard TV and The Travel Channel.

The Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship, part of the Florida State University College of Business, is accepting applications for its Small Business Executive Program (SBEP) Class VIII in St. Pete. The program, which is offered at no cost to participants, is funded by Jan Moran and The Jim Moran Foundation. The deadline to apply is August 7.

The SBEP helps for-profit business leaders work on their business while accommodating their busy schedules. Taught by industry experts, participants learn the Business Model Canvas and are given other tools to emerge as stronger leaders ready to capitalize on business opportunities. The program helps identify clear and focused strategies in marketing, exit strategies, financial analysis, and more.

The SBEP consists of eight sessions, each focusing on a particular aspect of growing a small business. Beginning September 6, 2022, and running through December 13, 2022, the sessions are held every other week from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Applicants must be actively involved in running a business, be a key decision-maker and their company must have been established for at least three years and have three or more employees to be eligible for the program.

To apply for the SBEP, visit jimmoraninstitute.fsu.edu. For more information, or to learn more about the Jim Moran Institute’s Central Florida Operations, contact Shane Smith at ssmith@jimmoraninstitute.fsu.edu or call 813-789-5966.

Limited tickets available. Refunds/credits are restricted but tickets are transferrable.
