CASA (Community Action Stops Abuse) is a not-for-profit organization providing domestic violence and prevention services, including the area’s 24-hour hotline and emergency shelter; non-residential programs, such as support groups, economic empowerment, and legal advocacy; Child Protective Investigative Team support; community and corporate training; and the CASA Peacemakers anti-bullying and healthy relationship school curriculum. CASA Pinellas is the certified domestic violence center for Pinellas County.
CASA has saved the lives of thousands of domestic violence survivors over the past 46 years. Each year, they provide services to over 6,000 individuals seeking assistance. Through programs and services, domestic violence victims become survivors - empowered with the skills, safety planning, and resources needed to keep their families safe.
