Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to Celebrate
Barbara Forgione Salon’s 10th Year Anniversary

Tampa, FL (September 27, 2016) – Barbara Forgione Salon, Tampa Bay’s nationally-recognized, premier hair salon, is proud to announce a ribbon cutting ceremony with the South Tampa Chamber of Commerce to celebrate its 10th year anniversary.

Over the past ten years, Barbara Forgione Salon has been acclaimed on Hollywood television series and received several awards. It was awarded 1 of 100 Best Salons in the USA by AOL’s Stylelist.com and the MTV self-improvement reality series, Made. Barbara Forgione was personally featured on The Makeover Story, a reality series on TLC Network. The Salon was also the first Deva Curl certified salon for curly hair and the first Yuko Japanese Straightening treatment certified salon in Tampa. Barbara Forgione, a Redken award-winning colorist and owner of the Salon, leads a team of inspired and talented stylists who are masters at their craft of cutting, styling, corrective color, smoothing treatments and extensions

The ceremony will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2016 from 4:00-6:00 pm at Barbara Forgione Salon, 4317 W. El Prado Boulevard, Tampa, FL 33629. The public is welcome to attend and refreshments will be served.

HCC Startup Toolbox Speaker Series
Presented by USAmeriBank, each semester the HCC Entrepreneurship Program offers a speaker series called the "Startup Toolbox Speaker Series". These events are designed to bridge our campus community with the business and entrepreneurship ecosystem in Tampa Bay. The events feature business and entrepreneurship leaders that visit our campus and participate in a panel discussion themed around myriad topics.

“Pecha Kucha Happening, Stories of Serendipity Presented in 400 seconds””
Pecha Kucha presentations are brief 6 minute and 40 second presentations (20 slides that auto transition every 20 seconds). A collection of entrepreneurs will present their stories of serendipity using the pecha kucha presentation format.
